SIAP but why is King not a captain this week? Over the past decade, I can recall very few occasions where the captains changed during the season. Daniels took King's spot this week and perhaps it is nothing but seemed a bit odd.

From what I can find from game notes from the last couple years, looks like they rotated Kirksey and Hyde as the fourth captain in different games in 2012 (to go along with Vandenberg, Morris and Ferentz).

Pretty sure the last safety that was benched was Harold Dalton. The only white guy that was benched was Devan Moylan and I'm pretty sure he was benched because he got injured.

Bower just doesn't seem to have the athleticism to play linebacker. Should bulk him up and make him a rush end. Of course that will never happen.

Was just gonna say Sleeper was benched. They started Hyde at safety in 2011 and moved him back to corner after that ISU debacle. Bernstine didn't even make the trip to Ames then started the rest of the year. I think Tanner Miller replaced Sleeper as well.

Miles Taylor has been the biggest target for King this year from what I've seen. He's been all over him several times.
