Patrick's team in the top 20 game was apparently overmatched, but he had a nice stat line in 12 minutes for the losing team: 3-5 from the field, 3 rebounds, an assist and a steal.

NY2LA lists Owen Coburn--who will play at Spirit Lake this year--as a 2019 prospect on the rise:

OWEN COBURN – 2019 – C – MARTIN BROTHERS SELECT - IOWA
A young interior prospect who stands close to 6-11 with a 7 foot plus wingspan, Coburn is raw and developing. He has solid instincts, can finish around the basket, has shown the ability to step away and hit the mid-range look and he has a quality feel on both ends of the court. Still raw and developing, he has an excellent frame and an intriguing upside with his best basketball in front of him. Already holding offers from Drake and North Dakota, the young interior talent from Iowa should continue to see his recruiting trail fill up substantially as he moves forward.

Yeah but all I want to know is if he's raw and developing or not.

Saw tweets saying that Fran is watching Taylor Currie, a 6'9 PF from Worthington Christian in Ohio, and Isaiah Thompson, a guard from Zionsville IN (see Chane's post above).

Will be interesting to see Locure develop. He has incredible game for his age, but is really small.

Looks like he's got some gorilla arms though. It be nice to get lucky for once and get an in state PG that can break down the defense off the dribble.

HawkeyeNation has an article up on Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, a 6'9 PF prospect from KC. Some may remember his father, Lester Earl. Iowa has built a relationship with him and he's rated #32 in the class (according to HN), but he already has a KU offer so it's probably a longshot.

They also have an item on another '19 player, Jordan Mitchell--a 6'7 SF from Ohio who has been offered by Iowa. He already has an Ohio State offer.

Watford appears to be highly regarded, with reported offers from Alabama, Miss State, Auburn and TCU, and Kentucky interest. Former IU player Christian Watford was also from B'ham so they could be related.

Locure didn't make any of the all star games.

Heard he has a bit of an attitude problem. Wes Staten Part 2?
