They scored 24 points and passed up points in the redzone twice, plus they had what looked to be an easy six at the end. 30 wasn't a crazy prediction.

Kirk saying 'fuck it, I want a touchdown,' seems unlikely though. The only way you don't kick, is if you think your kicker is likely to miss. Not just likely to miss, but so likely to miss, that going for it becomes the safe bet. No way was Kirk afraid of running it up, up only two scores.
