We are going to Indy, boyz, with a shot to go 12-0. This is a whole lot of fun.
Better figure out how to fucking stop those dickwads.
Holy shit. So excited. Going to piss pound Nebraska. To continue with my streak of no predictions, that's a fucking guarantee.
Gobble gobble, biznatches!
Rest CJ to get ready for the big10 championship game!!!
Fuck off anyone that actually agrees with this.
Complete bullshit they get a bye and Iowa gets a short week.
Meh. Fuck it.
piss pound them, 4 wins to go...
jump on them early while they're rusty, then.....go in dry
I think the Hawks will be pretty loose in this game. Nebby will be under a lot of pressure at home.
Hawks by 12
My feelings as well. Frankly, I just enjoy watching these guys on the road more. "Looser" says it best.
Hawks are 4-0 ATS on the road this year. Let's make that 5-0. Iowa gives up plenty of yards and points, but puts up just enough of their own.
I'm nervous, very nervous.
Lomax needs to Blough Armstrong early. He doesn't like to be hit.
If Phil Parker doesn't dial up some sort of pressure every once in a while against Armstrong, we could be in trouble.
that's because you are an isu troll, 4 wins to go.
No I am not.
so just really, really stupid.
Iowa winning by at least twenty points. I'm thinking even by over thirty.
I'd like to see Iowa run the ball with Mitchell this game a time or two, maybe a draw play. When Mitchell comes in, Iowa passes pretty much every time, and I'm sure other teams have picked up on that. It might catch the defense off guard, and at the very least would break that tendency a little bit.
I'm hoping we have several surprises for NE. It seems that we have been a bit vanilla for a few weeks
I like the way you think
I'd like to see Wiegers handle the extra points in this one.
I'd like to see Koehn make every one for a change
Iowa is finally healthy at all 4 RB spots, and all the backs haven't looked better than they do now. The top 3 in particular really complement each other's skill sets.
I also feel that the TE game is peaking big time right now.
Hope the offense will revolve primarily around those elements the next few weeks.
Yeah but this rotating RBs every damn play that we did today is fucking stupid. I'd like to see Wadley and Canzeri alternate series, Daniels only get a few short yardage carries (maybe 1 series per game), and Mitchell keep the bench warm.
Wadley looked a little gimpy still today and I wouldn't mind giving Daniels more carries if he runs like he did against Minnesota.
Wadley did look like he was limping a little. And Daniels did have a good game against Minny, but I'm convinced a healthy Canzeri or Wadley would've had an even better game given his carries. He's just not as good as them.
But regardlss of who they decide to play, you can't keep changing them in and out every damn play. It's retarded.
Has Iowa ever played two of the RBs together in the backfield at once?
Ferentz claims he takes it one game at a time, but its clear he has this one circled. He's reference the Nebraska game not sitting well probably a dozen times this year. They know all about that quote.
I'm recalling the '09 Ohio State game how intense they coaching versus usual.
Nebbie AD after firing Bo.
Weather forecast: Windy and 33 degrees in Lincoln on Friday.
Everything about Nebraska says that they're a crap team who got exceedingly lucky in multiple plays against MSU.
I'll take the amalgamation of the NW & Wisconsin scores at home, since Iowa beat both on the road.
Reading their boards, the Huskers really want this. Beating Sparty and Iowa both validates their season. Cyclonesque.
I would have the comments from their AD after last season on loop all week.
yeah, think they have circled it, but defense seems to be wearing down. Hope they can control Armstrong, qb pressure has been lacking.
The Hawkeyes will be more ready for this game than any other game this year.
Iowa wins. 12-0. (it's happening gif)
Get with the program, @BuffettHawk.
Gonna be in NE Iowa watching this game with my homeboy @McClintock. Any of you boys up that way (@CUIHAWK) for family holiday stuff wan t to get together for a game watch, let me know.
He mentioned it 3 different times on the post game with Dolph yesterday. 'We were close last year. Yeah the bowl game was what it was but that last game at Kinnick didn't sit well with me....yeah but that last game at Kinnick.'
He changed his practice schedule 2 weeks ago for this game.
This one matters.
