Fran is a sleazy salesman without the sleaze. Just my opinion, obviously. I was willing to go with a sleaziest of all sleazeballs for the new coach, but Fran seems to even better than that.

Don't let the glasses and the "I'm a white guy and I like to go antiquing on the weekends" look fool you. I think Fran knows how much cheating it takes to win at this level.

I would bet that before the next season is over there is at least one online pissing match between a member of Fran's immediate family and a poster.

Unless the Hawkeyes are worse than last year, I'm not sure what fans would get upset about with Fran.

Tier 1- NCAA Locks!! (In July, no less!!)

Purdue
OSU

Tier 2 - Should be NCAA
Illinois
Minnesota
NW

Tier 3 - Will probably be better than I think because Bo Ryan is awesome
Wisconsin

Tier 4 - NIT hopefuls!
PSU
IU
Iowa

Tier 5 - LOL!
Michigan

Depending on scheduling, I think they would win 1 or 2 from Michigan, 2 or 3 from PSU/IU, 1 from Wisky, and maybe 1 home upset. Somewhere between 4 and 6 wins is doable.

Of course I could be wrong about the talent of the other teams. IU should be doing better with their recruits, but they haven't shown much. PSU gets to keep Battle one more year, so that helps them. Michigan should suck. etc....
